Objectives

The Erudite University of Open Learning has the following objectives:

The achievement of the stated objectives depends largely on the strategies adopted. Consequently, the University works on these outcomes and adopt the following strategies to ensure the attainment of its stated objectives.

To create an enabling environment with accessible on-demand education and at the pace that best suits individual students.

To create a student-centered academic environment that relies on academic rigor, core values and a philosophy of combining traditional learning with practical experience as it relates to any field of human endeavor.

03.

To create a learning environment where students can find compliment for all official instructions in their own native language.

04.

To create a focused and experiential learning environment by developing partnerships with institutions that provides real-world experiences and practical.

05.

To provide seminar programs for students at satellite campuses, forming partnerships and affiliations with other international institutions for exchange visitation.

06.

To establish articulation agreements with health colleges and granting admission to students who earn diplomas in specially designed programs that prepare them for upper-level academic qualifications at Erudite University.

07.

To develop a strong curriculum that provides opportunities for practical and applied research, internships with industry partners and leadership development of Erudite University’s innovation driven partnerships.

To develop an admission that reaches out to prospective students from every corner across the nation and globe.

To encourage advancement of learning and to hold out to all persons without distinction of race, creed, sex, or political conviction, the opportunity of acquiring a higher liberal education.

To provide courses of instruction and other facilities for the pursuit of learning and to make those facilities available on proper terms to such persons as are equipped to benefit from them.

11.

To operate an academic curriculum which has been internationalized that is supported with appropriate physical and human resources, including the latest technology.

12.

To encourage and promote scholarship and conduct research in selected fields of learning and human endeavor for the development of the immediate and external environment.

13.

To carry out basic and applied research leading to the domestication and application of new technology to the Nigerian context through collaborative linkages with other academic and research institutions in Africa and the rest of the world.

To relate its activities to the social, cultural, economic, scientific and technological needs of the people of Nigeria and Africa, and to provide innovative educational programs of high standard, regardless of the nature of the degree being pursued as long as this has importance for national development;
